Pursuant to the 2023 Environment Code, the new Decree No. 2025-227 of 31 January 2025 was published on 5 February 2025 in the Official Journal of the Republic of Senegal under No. 7805. Repealing and replacing the 2001 decree, this text does more than simply update environmental regulations. It thoroughly overhauls the regulatory framework, with direct implications for all economic operators.
