Khaled Abou El Houda is a lawyer admitted to the bars of Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, and the managing partner of the Houda law firm, established in 1977. With over 20 years’ experience in business law, he is recognised for his expertise in the banking, finance, oil, mining, infrastructure and energy sectors. He is a member of several professional associations, including the Chamber of Mines of Senegal and AMCHAM Senegal, and is registered as an arbitrator with the OHADA Court, the Dakar Arbitration Centre and CIMAC in Casablanca.
His areas of practice include legal advice, structuring investment projects and court representation. He advises local and international clients, such as multinationals, investment funds and companies in various sectors, including agribusiness, energy, mining and telecommunications, in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and West Africa.
El Hadji Daouda SECK has been a member of Houda Avocats since 2009 and was appointed Partner in 2022. Specialising in litigation, he defends the interests of companies of all sizes as well as individuals. He has in-depth expertise in areas such as the regulation of economic and financial fraud, compensation for economic and financial damage, the liability of managers and directors of commercial companies, and the management of fast-track procedures and enforcement of court decisions.
El Hadji Daouda SECK has extensive experience in pleading cases and represents his clients before the Senegalese courts, where he has won several awards in pleading competitions between lawyers. He was also recently elected a member of the Senegal Bar Council, reinforcing his commitment to the profession.
